Meme Coin Narratives...
Last week, I wrote about the Murat Narrative (Link) which continued to run for a bit but now seems to have come to a point where there is starting to be some profit taking. I kind of hope that things will cool down more to potentially give some more favorable entries since I can see some of these coins doing really well.Especially SPX6900 I can see becoming the new Gamestop where everyone helps to pump it to much the S&P 500 which eventually will results in a massive crash.
The big question now is if a first peak has been reached with a longer and bigger pullback coming or if it is still a 'buy-the-dip' scenario. I started slowly getting in at a 0.66$ price and below and will continue to slowly but surely buy more if it continues to go lower. The reality though is that 677 Million in value held by holders is protected by just 5 Million Dollars worth of ETH. So it only takes a small fraction of the supply out there to be sold to create big dips. There was a wick down to 0.5$ which got bought up and I expect things to continue like this for a while going forward.
EmojiFi Narrative ?
Something new came up last week which are meme coins with no name but just an Emoji which is something that is possible on Solana but not on Ethereum. The way I see it, the concept was kind of was introduced by the Crypto Banter team with Ran clearly wanting to shill his bags so he possibly could dump on his already broke audience.
This said, I see some potential for this to one day to get hot with especially 1 of them that interests me. These coins can be found and followed on emojirace.fun where it shows that their total market cap combined is 17 Million. Dog Emoji (6M), Pregnant Man (1.7M), Cat Emoji (1.4M), Frog 1M, & American Flag (1M) are the ones so far that do best.
The only one that I see potential in is the Heart Emoji as it's something universal with a positive message which everyone can get behind possibly as a movement. I don't see this with any of the others. If you want a dog or a cat you are better off buying Wif, Popcat. The Pregnant Man is funny for a day but nothing more than that. It kind of feels like Boden/Tremp which is funny for some time but which won't create a cult of holders.
I did slowly start buying some of it now owning 400k with an eye to increase my stake in case the price would go lower. This is one of those coins that I would just hold on to in the hope that one day it explodes knowing there is a good chance that it will totally fade away to something of a 10k-25k market cap.
Other News & New Buy!
From the looks of it $MANEKI became the new sponsor of Sheffield United which is the first time I think a memecoin becomes a football sponsor and I would not be surprised if there were more of this in the future. At the same time, I'm not sure how many more people will actually buy Maneki because of this as it kind of more feels like a red flag.
I also got my LOA on SOL to 50k buying 37500 extra just to have it at a similar amount to BASE. I see a ton of potential still for this as a coin to get a cult behind it even though I absolutely hate the fact that they now have 2 separate coins on both Base and Solana. This will do more harm than good as it leaves people guessing and in fear of picking the wrong one. It's so much easier to have just 1 coin and get behind that.
Last Week Portfolio Performance
The best performer these past couple of weeks has been $HAPPI doing an almost x20 to the peak after it looked dead for a long time. If anything it goes to show that you really want to pick up coins that go flat at a really low market cap and have multiple of those as it only takes 1 to pump to make up for all the others. The 20x pump also in just a blip in what it did in the past even though having a equally high pump compared to previous highs is unlikely for most projects I would say.
New Week Watchlists!
I'm mostly watching $JASON even though my long-term position on that one is filled. It feels like it is just a matter of time before the same pattern repeats in that a twitter post comes which was front-runned by a big 100% Pump. It's very tempting to play into this and anticipate now with a short-term position while things cooled down again.

Conclusion
I'm still having plenty of fun with these Memecoins especially now that some start to pump again. I will see how it continues to evolve. A week is an eternity in meme coin world so I'll be back in 7 days with the next update...Posted Using InLeo Alpha

The meme game has been tough. My main banger has been $FWOG lately but some of the other stuff was hit and miss.
