What is #Crypto Simplified
It’s the new money but entirely digital, with no paper, no coins, just numbers in a system. It’s not controlled by banks or governments but by a network of computers that keep a record, or "ledger," of every single transaction. This ledger is called the blockchain.
Every time I buy something with Bitcoin or $HBD, that purchase is recorded on thousands of computers, and not just a certain companies database. Nobody can just go in and change it because every computer has a copy of the same record. This keeps it safe from people trying to mess with the numbers.
Why people are so hyped about it.
With crypto, you don’t need a bank. You could send money across the world instantly, and in places without banks, people can still use it as long as they have internet.
Hell yeah it’s unpredictable. Prices go up and down, sometimes without warning. But the main idea of having a global, digital currency we can use without borders is the Game-Changer.
