I have been investing in Crypto for over 4 years, I have heard a lot of things about how is good and how it is bad. Also whenever I ask my friends to invest in it, the only thing they will tell is that Crypto is volatile which means you can earn 100% one day and lose 100% the other day. I know he was exaggerating, but there are coins that are pumped and dumped where people pump it and then once they make the profit they dump it. I too was part of this pump and dump once in a time.
This makes the crypto market volatile on a day to day basis, but we take good coins then we can say that they are actually steadily rising or steadily falling i.e. Bitcoin. If we take last year performance Bitcoin was steadily rising and then it came down to be even with last year value and current value.

But on the other hand, if we take Meta Platforms share price it has gone down more than 10% in the last year and also 25% in the last trading day.

Let's take another example, Snapchat which is again down by more than 57% in the last 1 year.

I know I might be sharing only those who have lost this much. But it's for those people who say Bitcoin is a bubble that will be burst as the price is going down. What about these shares, will these big companies are also bubble and they will also go down. Not right, just like these companies have their mark, Bitcoin also has its mark.
Yes, Crypto is volatile, but the stock market is volatile too. The more volatile the market is the more risk it is as well the more reward you get. So yes if invested in SIP format for these companies can actually create your wealth in the future, along with that Crypto will also create wealth for you. We should not (actually people who have not started investment in crypto) should ignore it thinking that investing in crypto will make only losses, it is today one of the best wealth creators in the world.

That's true, and volatility means going up and down. Which is applicable to both Crypto and Stocks
Both stock and cryptos are volatile,those think of losses only during investment is that they are crowded with fear and it's hard for those set to take risk even when the opportunity is clear
What I think is, people, think that with stocks they can recover the losses but with crypto they cannot. If this mentality goes away you will see a lot of craze into the market.

I think everything in life is volatile. Talking about volatility, some months ago I added 200 chicks to my penn and I lost over 100 before sale, is that not volatility. Please shun anyone who thinks that crypto market is volatile, remember life in itself is volatile. That's my opinion.

Amen to this! I'm saying these things over and over again to everyone who is sticking to the "volatility" story... It's annoying that people are looking at crypto as short-term speculation, but I suppose that's a usual human behavior... Everyone wants to win a lottery and get rich, and nobody wants to work hard and accumulate wealth through the years... That's boring... :)
The thing with stocks and companies, it's completely normal that a lot of "well-known" stocks are going down... Yes, they are maybe holding a monopoly at the moment, but none company stayed there forever... ;)

Thats correct, and there will be time when the Crypto will not be volatile but the stock market will be.
I doubt if we will ever reach that stage but boy, what a turnaround that would be, right if it happened?
It will be man, I guess we need to give it time. Like for say 10 years, just like Gold.
The stock market sees volatility as well but not as compared to the cryptocurrency market. However, underneath the volatility are opportunities to make money and create wealth. Hence, volatility of any market should scare you away instead, learn to take advantage of the market cycles.
