Gig Workers are Needed

Gig workers are independent workers who are paid for their work. They can work as per their schedule to get some part time money. For example, online delivery guys, bike taxi guys etc these are some of the part term works in India specifically. Problem is gig workers are not getting the same respect as the normal white collar guys.

And this is actually the problem. The gig workers do work hard to get food for themselves and even get some part time money and we require the gig workers otherwise it's a problem. For example, if the gig workers are not there, the small odd job will not be taken up and people spend a lot of time doing themselves. They actually freed up the time of the people and the cost is just the extra money.

I know since it's a gig work, the stability is the question. But again it's a job. You can do it as a part time or even full time and it depends on you. You don't get the benefit of a job but still you are getting paid for your hard work and for me it's like a real job. I have seen people doing the gig work with their full time job so that they can get paid extra. Like for example, we are writing here along with our full time job. So writing is actually a gig work for us where we spend our time to get paid in terms of upvote.

Again I feel gig workers are exploited by the companies. For example, now the 10 minutes delivery comapnies wants the riders to reach the destination within 10 minutes and because of this the riders ride fast and thus they got into accident or something. So gig working is good but we also have to see which is good for our health as well as wealth also.
