Let's dig more knowledge with me and talk about NFT again. I sometimes wonder what makes NFT worth so much. Like, what's the benefit you gonna get if you buy one. I can't just let my curious ass be questioned forever. It annoys me to be honest. I mean what makes it that special that makes people try to get one. Is it just about the hype and status? Should Chachababe get one?

VIP Access for Ape owners

I've mentioned those celebrities that own BAYC with their NFTs pictures in my previous article. Here is the link. Names like Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, Eminem are part of the gang. But Imma say, Jimmy Fallon is the iconic one. Everytime you google who's a celebrity that owns BAYC NFTs he is always on the top one.

I did my research about it. It says if you own the NFT, it can give you privilege access to an exclusive Discord server with some celebrity owners. This is gonna give you that 'status'. Club members are also rewarded with free NFTs from the same stables, which can be resold. Bored Ape owners can also show off their NFT as their profile picture on Twitter with a Twitter Blue subscription. Flexing be hitting hard.

The Bored Ape Kennel Club introduced dogs to the world of NFTs in June last year. Owners can claim one random Club Dog for each Bored Ape you own. Given for free to holders of BAYC NFTs as an advantage of being a member of the club. Another special shit you could get as a member of the gang. C'mon who doesn't like free stuff that is actually worthy and could make you more cooler in the society. Chachababe also wants one.

You also received the Apecoin airdrop

We still can feel the hype of BAYC till this day. It is actually a good investment if you own the Ape. You could keep it for a while and sell it. It could be worth more than you can imagine. It depends on how you know the market strategy shit. You will also received the ApeCoin as an airdrop if you buy the Ape. This guy Nathan Head, a 25-year-old NFT artist and collector, made $75.000 from an ApeCoin sale on the day of the token’s release, when the token was trading at about $6.80. Had he held on, his ape-themed crypto would have been worth more than $431.000. Motherfucker is a genius.

Nathan had the ape for 9 months and he said it was probably the best investment he has ever made in his life. He is actually not sure that he would ever sell his Ape, even though it’s worth more money than he has ever had in fiat. He admits that it truly feels like being in a very cool club that comes with a lot of very valuable freebies and opportunities.

You gotta be smart in this NFT crypto world. That's why you can't just buy one without knowing the value of the NFT itself because you just want to join the hype or the status you are trying to get. Or worse, you just don't know what to do with your money. Well some of these celebs might have done it because of that but if you want to earn money from it, you shouldn't just buy and do nothing about it. Don't do it just because of the hype.
