Have you noticed how much positive and without toxicity the community in #leo #threads is in comparison to legacy social media?

That stands true for the #Hive ecosystem in general.

Sort:

As much as I enjoy it, the coziness will depart with an increased userbase. That's the core factor here—not web3 v web2. Bigger population = more toxicity, & toxicity sadly shouts louder than chill content.

Smart sort/filter = critical

We can handle bigger populations, especially if the growth is incremental and from people looking for the same things as we do. If it blows up fast then it will be a challenge

Unfortunately you can filter all you want, but if some people or group of them decide trolling you and attack you with hate or dowmvotes, there is nothing you can do for prevent that.

This will change if #hive ever gets the mainstream participation that many people wish for. At least on #hive, there's a chance we'll be able to filter out the noise.

Indeed. As you pointed out we will be able to filter out the noise, or the noise will filter out itself as Hive offers the ability to create so many communities that at times can be even ecochambers

The people who need validation will yell outside of their echo chambers, but at least some algorithm won't be forcing me to see it.

Not being negative but we have not yet seen users coming in. We are in hundreds. Wait until we are into thousands. Hope all is well though :P

We can handle that!

For sure :P

That is so true! I experienced this myself alot of times in Hive. The community is just great!

Yes. Till now I'm loving it!

Yep, and long may it continue as things grow!

Long may it prosper!
