It's been another busy week in the carbonZERO ZONE! As we announced last week, we recently launched on the Stride blockchain and are actively looking for new opportunities to get into some good blockchains that we can use to add to our eco-friendly DAO donations! We are also looking to find new ways to add value to the ecosystem.
We took a really big hit in out EVMOS delegation which hurt, so we are trying to new ways to contribute to all of the different ecosystems. So we have been putting some new focus into our Twitter Spaces and our website where we are now offering a market tracking tool, information pages, and charts for the ranked coins in the Cosmos IBC ecosystem. Another thing we are doing is creating a development fund that will be governed by our DAO.
cZERO Live Twitter Spaces
We have started up this new thing and have already hosted 2 Twitter Spaces that we have turned into podcasts and posted on Spotify through Anchor.FM. Our goal is to have conversations with environmentally friendly projects or are doing things to help humanity in different ways. We are currently reaching out to our eco-friendly validator friends and projects that we find that have the same mentality as we do!
Our first interview was with Aqua DAO, who is doing great things by bringing water to places that desperately need it. Then our second was today with Empower Chain which is focused on reducing the plastic waste in the world! Next up we have Windpowerstake, a fellow eco-friendly validator in the Cosmos space!
Cosmos Index
One thing we wanted to use this website for, in addition to a blog, is to integrate market data and charting features that focus on the IBC ecosystem tokens. The tokens displayed are ranked on CoinGecko and we will continue to add more as they become available to our plugin.
With the market table is a description page for each of the tokens listed. One thing we are working on this week is to get full descriptions of each of the tokens in the Cosmos Index. On these pages, you can see current price and market data, a conversion calculator, charts, and other links that are relevant to the project.
One extra feature we are adding in is a direct link to our Restake App for tokens that we validate for, as well as a list of other suggested validators. These validators are usually people that have helped us in our journey of becoming the team we have become. This also encourages people to think about delegating to people other than the top few validators. For chains we do not validate for, we are still adding in 3 suggested validators from those sets. All validators will need to be Restake enabled as we are pulling them from that list of validators.
DAO Numbers
We have $424.85 ready to go to donate to trees this week. With the delegation hit we took, next week is not going to be near as big. But that is still over 1280 trees that we are going to be donating!
We are still working on getting the $cZERO token claims sent. We are going to be sending the 10% rebate of EVMOS out to airdrop qualified wallets this week as well. Our goal was to get the DAO votes started this month, but with us still working on the claim drop until the end of the month, we are going to start fresh next month with DAO voting.
The 10% EVMOS delegator rebate that went from the time we went active until Sept 1, will be sent out this week as well. This is a thank you to our delegators that helped us get going. Unfortunately for whatever reason or another though, we have been dropping in delegations. From then on the 10% is going to our development fund for us to fund the building of tools and dapps for the various ecosystems we support!
Just remember, more delegations to our node, the more trees we can plant!
