Validator and DAO Report 10/10-10/16

This week was just another week in the life of IBC blockchain validation. We have been celebrating 100% uptimes on our nodes and making sure we are participating in governance on all of our chains.

Governance Participation

This week we voted YES to proposals on EVMOS, Sifchain, and HUAHUA. We were happy to also see the proposal for the validator set for MNTL increased. This helps solidify our spot there further and keeps us out of the perpetual danger zone.

DAO Numbers

For our EVMOS numbers, which is the only chain that is really paying for itself and giving us funds for our ecological DAO, we have collected and swapped $81.21 this week for tree donations. These funds are building up in our team wallet at the moment and we are going to start our first DAO vote on the 25th.

Next month, we will start to actually load the DAO treasury on a weekly basis. The reason we haven't is that we are avoiding the extra bridge fees for Axelar so we can maximize the donations.

Continued Educational Posts

We are going to be pushing on with trying to come up with more educational content for the Cosmos ecosystem. One big thing that we are really wanting to keep a continued focus on is the decentralization of stake, and node infrastructure. These are extremely important factors that we need to make sure we are educating the community on.
