There is a really big problem happening right now. China wants to be the big power. They are tired of being under America's thumb. The best path for China is to stay trading with America, however, they were promised by Kissinger that they would be the next great power. And the CCP wants that.
China has never learned from their folly. Of thinking that they are the big fish in the pond, and finding that they are just a frog in a well. It happened in the Opium war. It is happening now.
The CCP's hubris, or their last ditch effort to grab the ring of power, will cause a lot of problems around the world. It will destroy China. And, it may free the countries in the world from WEF control.
What a weird standoff.
The current state of China
A good deal of the people in China hate the CCP. They remember Tienanmen Square. The remember the Covaids lockdowns where people were welded into their homes. Prison labor exists a lot more than is known outside.
There are 10s of thousands of protests (where the police or military had to be called to break it up) each year.
China just recently, has created a ball point pen all by themselves. They used to rely on Germany to make the balls and ferrels. With a lot of funding and push by the CCP, they can finally make a ball point pen on their own. This is the actual state of China.
They made an aircraft carrier and it sunk upon launch. China does not have a huge navy. They have a bunch of coast guard that they count as navy. A bunch of ships that are not deep water capable.
All those shiny new cities, are "tofu dregs". Shit construction that is falling apart. And will probably be torn down before anyone actually resides in them.
Electric vehicles all over China, that burst into flames almost every day. And fleets of electric vehicles sitting in yards because no one want to buy them.
And the thing that was China's biggest advantage, man power, may not actually exist. The numbers were inflated. And then one-child policy destroyed the work force. The economy isn't growing, it is shrinking, collapsing. So much so that young men see they have no future. Working hard doesn't bring success. They are "laying flat".
Remember that to the CCP, looks are everything. So, when you see all the parades with lots of military hardware, that it is all for looks.
Remember that China is dying
China cannot feed its own population. China cannot fuel its own population. China is a very low trust society.
It is a common occurrence that someone drives through a group of young children going to school.
If someone is being robbed, no one will help.
The Belt (& road) is being delayed because suppliers have been supplying substandard material.
A society cannot survive like this. And it won't.
And this makes the CCP anxious. Each year that goes by, they are not getting closer to being a military powerhouse. In fact, each year that goes by they are getting weaker.
The CCP wants to take over Taiwan. "It is theirs" they say. How do we allow a country to say such things and not be sanctioned?
The CCP has plans to take over America. They want that farm land. And have long term plans to bring America to its knees. And we give them favored nation status?
All of this adds up to the CCP not being rational, and throwing a hail-mary-pass. Before the can't, the CCP will launch a war with Taiwan and America. And this will be the end of cheap Chinese goods.
(or they may just cut off shipments to America, to teach us a lesson in negotiation)
Soooo, no more cheap chinese goods. What will we do?
Well, first, since we ignored all the warning signs, a class of people who haven't been seen for a while will rise from the grave. Repair people. People who repair appliances. People who take apart two broken things, and use the parts to make one working thing.
Now, the mother WEFers had planned to build almost fully automated factories to produce cheap chinese goods, however, because China will jump the gun, they will not quite be ready to start making their factories.
And, so, American ingenuity will see people going one step further than just repairing from salvaged parts. They will start manufacturing repair parts. So many of the things needed to repair appliances are small plastic items, and these can be 3D printed.
After enough replacement parts are designed, proven and shared, then we will see people building new products. Appliances will be built in people's garages. And since this started with shared 3D printing, these things will be shared on ThemTube, and we will see appliances built in many garages all over the world.
Before you know it, local manufacturing will have taken over the world, and the old ways of building a factory will be too price and too slow. And unneeded.
So, China puts themselves out of business, and Wallymart follows soon after.
This is one way i see this happening. But, it really doesn't matter how, it only matters that we get there. Local manufacturing.
It is really ironic that those who wish to take the means of production will be outdone by those who build their own, individual means of production.
The CCP is not our friends. There is something going on in the CCP. Something that may mean Xi is out. Which could be good, or could be bad. One way that war gets started is that Xi sees his doom approaching, and decides to go all out. Or his replacement sees war as the only way forward.
Of course, Trump playing hardball in negotiations with China could be another catalyst.
So, if China cuts all off from cheap Chinese goods, it may be for the best.
Sounds like the guys I knew in High School, but with cars and trucks instead of appliances.
