Capitalism Vs. Communism - Why is there even a competition?

CapitalismCommunism.png

Under capitalism, there is a growing underclass… that isn't accurate, it is a group of people who are educated (indoctrinated, and there is no education involved) to believe in a utopian fantasy, and this group is the ones who cannot rise to the top in competition, and they believe that we can all do better, if we just all worked together. (I mean, they will have a shot at being the top person if they change the game) And these people are called Communists, or sometimes "Useful Idiots"

Only under the largess of capitalism can these "thinkers" exits.

And the notion of living together/working together, where everyone is equal (where they may be the top dog) blinds them from the reality that under these conditions, the human doesn't think or act that way. (the incentives are in the wrong direction)

However, the idea of housing and feeding everyone is noble thought.
The ideas of working together have actually produced the biggest results.
The concepts of not having a tyrant or a land lord over us, is great.

The Communist Dream

  • Housing for everyone
  • Food for everyone

These things are far more easier to solve/attain under Capitalism.
If we set our minds to it, we could build a tiny house for every person in the country. And it would probably be cheaper to do this then it is to pay for one year of section 8 housing. If we had a tiny house, or a tiny apartment that could be rented at no cost to any who show up, we would easily solve the homeless problem. And probably save money.

However, we do not have such because of corruption. (this is a Capitalism problem as well as a Communist one) In America, we have a lot of people who have gotten the govern-cement to pay them each month for shitty houses they got at bargain basement prices. They claim that this is the market working out the best price, but it is not. They control who gets paid, and who can get paid)

If the people wanted everyone to be fed, they could just open up cafeterias all over. Serve basic foods prepared efficiently. And this would cost less than EBT / Food stamps, as well as get rid of the corruption in those systems. People can only eat as much as they can eat. There is no trading for cash, or drugs.

Of course, if you did this, you also need to make sure that the farming industry has enough incentives to get people to produce food. (hunger really motivates people to grow food. The barrel of a gun is a poor way to motivate people.)

So, if we really wanted to fix these problems, we could.
But the reasons that we don't are legion. People who get elected by saying they will solves a problem rarely want to solve that problem. It is their meal ticket. (and other corruption factors)

The Actual Communist Dream

There are people who like competition. There are people who are good at competition.

There are the tall and handsome men who get much attention from many women.

These people like competition. They like the capitalist system, where they can strive to be even better.

However, the group that cannot see the top. Whose best is middling. Who do not have the drive or the aptitude to make it to the top, these people are unhappy with their lot in life. And with a little college indoctrination, and an easy life, they can see that they might get to the top by flipping the board, or changing the game. If they redefine good, they could be at top.

And, if you watch today's left, you will see that that is what they are doing. Redefining words.
It is no longer racism, if you elevate people of color… etc.

Redefining what it means to be good.
Showing others that you are the best at virtue signalling.

Redefining what it means to be capable.
It is the group that did it, even if all the individual did was show up.

So, we have to really understand what most neo-communists (they haven't experienced real communism yet) are actually after. Else, you can never fulfil their actual desires. And you cannot work with them, when their stated goals are different from their actual goals.

The Capitalist Dream

Most people believe that they can make a living through hard work and being honest.
Most people believe that they can get the American Dream

"It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it" - George Carlin

These people do not understand that usury drains their life, and makes it so the slowest always get zeroed out.

They also do not know that a monetary system built on a growth model means that everyone is losing if they remain still.

However, anyone who has hustle, and has a decent understanding of finances can make a good life.

The top performers get a the huge pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The middle performers can get a decent life, unless disaster strikes, or they make one of the monetary destroying choices.
The bottom performers will never get ahead, and seemingly get pushed further down, even if they try.

The only really good thing about capitalism is that people get fed, mostly because food is so cheap. (it's cheap because people are incentivized to grow a lot of it) Further, there are enough people doing well, who will give to charity to help the less fortunate.

Well, actually, the really good thing about capitalism is that it allows, and encourages, the top performers to perform at their top. 80% of the results are created by 20% of the people. And this abundance allows us to live much more comfortably if everyone (was forced to) perform at the same level.

Maybe in the future we will learn ways to combine the best out of Communism and Capitalism.
Or maybe we will just go to systems thinking and look at what we really want, and try to make those things happen.

Like, if we wanted everyone housed, we would not suffer politicians getting bureaucrats to overpay their friends the landlords for providing trash housing. We would have that politician out of office with 6 weeks, and all those people involved thoroughly embarrassed for their involvement.

Also, we will quickly recognize that we do not make anyone better by making the strongest weaker. We do not raise anyone up by dragging down those at the top.

And maybe we will learn to be really compassionate, instead of just virtue signalling.

The End of Entropy (article): https://peakd.com/informationwar/@amaterasusolar/the-end-of-entropy

I think it'll be great to find a middle ground between capitalism and communism, there are inherent good aspects of both. In practice, psychos will never allow that, because it will put them at a disadvantage :)

That is important thing to learn, that will make all systems work better. Keep psychopaths out of positions of power.

What is the "Fair Tax" on this spectrum? It gives everybody the calculated stipend for living, no income tax, and taxes what you consume (I heard it called thr "prebate"). Therefore, people can decide to be poor and alive, or they can earn money knowing they keep every dime of it unless they decide to live larger. They can also decide to save until they are ready to take a risk, still mitigated by their stipend.

There is no "fair tax". Taxes are one of the worst ways to do anything. After stealing someone's money, or threatening their lives for that money, whatever you do with it is already less than desirable.

If you own a home, than you are set for a place to sleep. But, if you put property tax on that place, then if you do not make enough money, your house is gone. You have to start moving fast enough just to stay still.

If you are talking about "wealth redistribution" because the income disparity is not fair, then we are talking about envy, and that leads to bad results.
