Bitcoin Dominance! Bitcoin World Reserve Coin? Bitcoin Maxi??

The year 2025 will bring something to crypto that we haven't really talked about, nor we really expecting. (actually a lot on here probably know and recognize where crypto is going now, and so won't be truly shocked about these predictions)

Trump announced that America would buy bitcoin.
Other countries announced they would buy bitcoin.
Microstrategy announced they would buy more bitcoin before America bought bitcoin.
Other companies announced that they would buy bitcoin

Everyone is announcing that they will be holding bitcoin on their balance sheets.
So, basically, bitcoin is going to become the world reserve currency.

But, bitcoin is slow and expensive!
Yeah!!! That's what makes it so great for all these big corporations.

What does this all mean?

One thing that has been sorely missing is a wallet designed for large corporations.
We need to have tech-idiot CEOs be able to send millions of dollars easily, and without fail, and with multisig and getting sign offs from all the departments.

You know how we usually send a little bit of a crypto to an address, to make sure it gets there before sending the big amount. Well, this will probably be built into commercial wallets. And it will probably be built into the bitcoin network itself. After working out how to avoid spam, the bitcoin network will send a test message, to make sure wallets see each other, and will not be sending the bitcoin off into nothingness.

We will also put a lot of effort into efficiently doing multi-sig transactions. Either, in the wallet, or on the chain. When dealing with millions of dollars, such things will not be left for bare bones wallets with an address and amount input box.

There will also be dead-man switches, inheritance and recovery methods. If the corporation has a billion dollars in bitcoin, it better not go missing because the CEO was on "that" Boing airline flight.

I believe these things will be built into the bitcoin nodes, or a bitcoin layer 1.5. Or they can be built in a commercial wallet, that has protocols, and communication abilities to sync with other commercial wallets.

Anyway, corporations will bring big money to solve these things.

Will It Be Bitcoin All By Itself?

A lot of bitcoin maximalists believe that it will be bitcoin layer 1, and bitcoin layer 2 (and bitcoin layer 3…) and it will all be built on top of bitcoin.

A lot in the XRP army believe that it will be XRP. The banks will all be using XRP, and everyone else can just go home.

Are either of these true? Or even possible?

I believe XRP will be used by banks and bankstrs all over. The predictions by psychics about this is that there will be a lot of XRP millionaires, set for life. And then it will just disappear. Do the banks shut down, and take XRP with them? Do the banks turn off the on/off-ramps into XRP? XRP is only used by banks, and if you are not a bank, your XRP is invalid?

But what about bitcoin?

If bitcoin maxis cut themselves off from everybody, then all-crypto people are going to walk away from them. So, i doubt that it will be only bitcoin.

Further, with crosschain chains like Hedera and Chainlink, we will enter a realm where it doesn't matter which coin you use. You can send what you want, and the receiver can receive what they want.

One of the big things that lightning network doesn't cover is medium sized transaction that you really want recorded on a chain. And this is where litecoin and even BitcoinCash could come in. Not buying coffee, nor buying a house, but things in the middle that really need a transaction record.

So, either the bitcoin maxis invent a medium sized, quick network of a secondary block chain, or they will end up using cross chain platforms.

The only question is, will bitcoin people wall themselves off?

Bitcoin as the World Reserve Currency

Everyone knows the dollar is dying, but it is still the big boy on the block (by a large margin).

People hate The US for abusing them with power of the dollar. However, there is no, one trusted country that they would want to see become the next economic powerhouse.

People hate The US, but people despise China. Trusting the CCP is only for people who see their propaganda on American social media sites.

Russia, although the MSM likes to hold them up as huge, powerful, dangerous, we need to be scared about them… aren't a very large economy. At least not yet. I really do not know how well other countries trust Russia, but they do not have enough Rubles floating around the world to take up the mantle. Although, they seem to be the actual trusted entity behind BRICS.

A big problem with becoming a world reserve currency is that you need to have enough of that currency all over the world so that people have enough to swap in and out.

And this is the advantage of bitcoin. It is everywhere and nowhere. It is already IN every country. It is already swapped into every other currency. In some ways, bitcoin is already the world reserve currency. All it needs to do now is grow its market cap big enough to handle all the big transactions.

Whereas, any other currency would have to get big enough AND get spread around the world.

The future is always uncertain. Many psychics say that bitcoin is the big crypto in the future. However, the psychic who knows, say its is something LIKE bitcoin. Because there are several paths where bitcoin becomes a failed experiment.

Imagine if the ultra-wealthy bought up all the bitcoin, all the bitcoin miners, and decided it was their own playground. Everyone else need not apply. It is possible.

And the very next day, there would be a LOT of bitcoin forks. Or maybe just one fork that the normal people moved to.

Anyway, in the future, bitcoin appears to be the thing that everything all around the world is priced in. There is also many indicators that it is not what is really used by the people.

And, i can tell you that in the farther future, bitcoin is gone, or morphed into something else. An even better money.
