Follow up to my month Goals post.

in LeoFinance3 years ago (edited)

A month ago I made a post setting some goals.

Time to recap.

Goal 1 Followers ✔️✔️✔️

At the time of setting this target I had 15 followers.
My 1 month target was to double them to 30.
Checking my profile right now - I have 51 Followers.

So big success here! Most of the followers came after my post about formatting Hive 101. Especially after @ryzeonline featured my post in his emblematic successful Hive onboarding article.

Seeing the success in these two posts, I think there is a big need in well made posts helping users in their Hive journey.

Goal 2 Keep posting quality posts at least once a day. 💚

I tried really hard to have at least one quality post a day and I didn't succeed. It is not easy.
At least I have 49 posts and I joined hive 42 day ago, so I feel it as a win.

For the next month I will focus on creating even better quality posts as much as I can.

Goal 3 Have deep understanding on all differences between Hive, Hive Power, Swap.Hive, Hive engine tokens, and how curation, witnesses and so on work. ✔️

I think this is a win. I succeeded in understanding all the different Hive currencies, how to transfer and trade them, how curation works and even voted for some witnesses that I like.

I also found that not everything in the Hive community is Honey and butter. Some whales and communities argue about how curation is performed. The big question: Should we curate only our friends/community members and delegators or we should curate quality. I totally take @acidyo 's side that Quality original content should be the primary goal and we should give our votes to the people creating it, no matter their affiliation.

Goal 4 Five NFT's on @nftshowroom and a single sell ✔️❌

Ok. I minted 5 pieces that I really like.

You see six in the picture, because a nice art creator @eve66 made a present for me and gave me the red forest devil.

About selling... It's a fail here... I don't know where I fail. Is it the art, or the prices, or the marketing, or just I am too inpatient.
If somebody can give me advice, I will gladly accept it. @juliakponsford , dear alien admired girl, I am seeing you are really successful and I am so happy about it. Do you have any idea what I am missing?

Goal 5 - 515 Hive power ✔️✔️✔️

This is a big win again.
I have 556 HP
I have delegated 50 HP
I have been delegated with 700.350 HP
I have 28 HBD and 16 Hive and of course my NFT collection.

The most interesting part is that by just Hiving and learning how to Hive for my first month I earned more than the minimal monthly salary in Bulgaria.

On trading goals

  1. I didn't win much, but I also didn't lose. It was a scary market for options, I was mostly watching what was happening. Some wins on Big Caps, some losses on small caps.
  2. My task was to make 500$ on crypto. I made 200$, but if we take my Hive account - it is over 500$.
Still I was just exploring and learning. My 200$ I made on Stellar Lumens and DOGE, using just 270$ cash for investment.
  3. Profit taken ;)

Current trades

Looking for entry on $SPCE
My biggest holding in $INTC (below 50$ average)
Having few losing $FUBO and $NIO options
Having 1000 DOGE ! :D :D :D - They should be renamed "Elons" btw...

Woooo! Huge congrats on your goals! I love your formatting post and was happy to link it.

Regarding sales, I wrote a mega-guide on Business (similar to my guide to Hive) if you're interested. You said you welcomed advice, so I'ma link it: https://jryze.me/simple/

It gives a deep understanding of business success, the same way my other guide gave a deep understanding of Hive.

Hope it helps! 🙏

Thank you! I will surely take a look!

@brutalisti that guide Jay linked is super helpful and I share it often. If you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to ask one of us.

@ryzeonline very nice of you to share the link. Business IS simple. So many people have gotten lots of value from it.

❤️

Thanks for the kind words (and you're not biased 'cause you proofread it, right?) :D lol

100% 😝

Awesome, I'd love to know what you think of it and if it enlightens you at all regarding 'selling' :)

Well done!
... As expected ;) Sorry but no surprise there.

I'm happy you find it all interesting. I've been quite distracted and I am myself failing to be active this month. For the first time in about two years and more.

Still, one needs to live offline as well ;)

As to the so called failures...ti me, those are the attempts we must pay in order to have success. They are statistically more and mostly invisible to others. So...go out there and fail better next time. Until you fail at failing which will inevitably come to be.

Congratulations @brutalisti! You have completed the following achievement on the Hive blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
