The Fear Of Starting Something New

Lately I have been feeling really stuck with my life, this is the reason I started blogging hopefully, it will take my mind off that feeling, which is still not enough because I know that I can do more with my life. I am tired of doing the same thing over and over and over agin and complain I am not seeing any results. I am thinking of starting something new, but I am scared of the unknown, its normal, starting something new can be very overwhelming but you can never know how good or bad it will turn out until you start it. I have always been the type that likes business, I love the idea of buying and selling, but I have not started as an entrepreneur yet. It used to be marketing for other companies, but when doing that, you know you are working based on the company’s budget, at the end of the day you get paid your salary. Though the salary was small, I felt I provided far more value helping the company market their brand than what I was being paid, this is the reason I decided to start my own business. At the same time, you can’t help but think of all the possible challenges that might come with that. I have googled challenges that comes with starting your own business, while some videos and blogs have all the nice things to say about starting your own video, I am more interested in knowing what the challenges are because I am trying to be realistic.

I found a YouTube video of a person who gave a 14 minutes story of his own challenge starting a business, this felt comforting because, the video ended with some words of advise like being consistent and not giving up because no one said it was going to be say, but it is going to be worth it. Starting my own business is something I have been anticipating for the past two years, but not had the guts to start it, because I used to feel I wasn’t ready. But this time I think I am ready to start and I am ready for all the challenges that comes with it. I will keep researching and asking all the necessary questions, because I will be my sponsor, which means I am betting on myself. Whenever I start thinking of things like this, I remember starting my blog few months ago, getting scared I wasn’t good enough to blog what people would be interested in, now I am blogging consistently for over a week. This gives me all the push I need to start my new found journey of starting my own business.
