Setting goals are really fun because it makes us feel hopeful and agitated to see what the end result would be. It’s all fun and games when setting it because it gives us this sense of good feelings that we are about to achieve something we can be proud of. But don’t you think that comes with a lot of pressure too? When you are not setting goals and you are achieving some certain things, you don’t see them as a goal worth valuing. For instance, you win some $100k or $1 Million lottery you didn’t think you have a chance of winning. Or you played the lottery reluctantly but ended up winning it, do you think you will value it? Funny how it can come on a platter for one person who didn’t work for it or plan on getting it, while a person who plans to achieve that will have to work 100X harder to achieve the goal.

Goal is relative, one person’s goal is another person’s daily achievement. I have been going on the Hive platform and see a lot of people set Hive goals, and it’s nice to read their blogs and see how excited they all are about achieving these goals. I’m happy for them, I can’t wait to start achieving mine. This is why I am setting a realistic goal for myself, this goal will be to start with 100 HP goal. Although when I started writing on Hive, my biggest challenge was to have enough resource credit so my posting would stop. That was my goal and tried my best to work on that, now I have enough resource credit to post as much posts as possible. But I want to set a new goal, a realistic one that won’t put much pressure on me. One of the goals is to set my Hive power goal. 100 HP at my level seems really huge for me, but for other people it might be something they can achieve in a day or two, but for me, its a huge goal to set. I am close to achieving a 10 HP goal, which is a big deal for me, its showing gradual process, I am proud of myself. I love my consistent passion in trying to create content and I am grateful for those people who come to upvote my post, it gives me all the motivation and encouragements I need. Thank you guys. At least I can boast that I have some crypto and its Hive.
Setting a realistic goal is knowing that its not an easy task to achieve and stop dwelling in the illusion that you can easily top people’s achievemts over night, its possible but its rare. To avoid any future disappoints, stick to reality by starting small. This way you appreciate the ones you have while aiming and focusing on getting the big ones.
