My cousin just got an iPhone 14, and I was so excited for her and wanted to see what’s so special about the phone making it cost over $700. I use an iPhone 11, I have used an iPhone 10 and I have also used an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 6 and I can tell you for sure that in terms of user experience, there is no much difference, just difference in physical looks and better camera quality. So I took her iPhone and checked it to see if I could see some differences between two phones to know why it cost $320 extra compared to my phone. iPhone 14 has a better processor than iPhone 11, it has a better camera, it has something called dynamic island which is not on other iPhone, its a first to have a dynamic island on an iPhone, so yeah, its a big difference. But asides that, what else is there to be the reason to have an iPhone.

Every year, iPhone releases a new iPhone version, they have been doing this for ten years now, every year people complain there is no difference between the new iPhone products, except when iPhone 10 was released, the home button was removed which was really cool and a nice improvement, this impacted the mobile phone technology as a lot of other smart mobile phone brands removed their home buttons from their mobile phones. That was 6 years ago, aside the dynamic island, there has not been any new improvement, people are beginning to get tired of Apple’s nonchalant constant act of releasing the same phone every year but changing few physical features. We have seen a lot of big mobile phone companies decline over time, these were mobile phone brands that we never imagined will ever decline, mobile phone brands like Nokia, Blackberry and others. Currently, iPhone is relying on brand loyalty, to help sell their products meanwhile their lack of innovation is rapidly increasing, there are one of the biggest companies in the world, some people think that iPhone is too big to fail, because smart phone innovation is already here and its way ahead of its time so there is littler no improvement left to make, so relying on brands and loyalty is the only thing left. But I think that is wrong, in this world of technology, change is the only constant thing, there is always something new to innovate. When people start getting tired of this and a new competition comes in town, watch how apple might just decline and join the likes of Nokia and blackberry, or I might just be wrong and apple will never fail.
