AI Trend And The Decline So Far

Early this year the whole world made AI seem like a new technology that if you are not using, you are missing out has been born. There were a lot of buzz every where, people talking about AI and making it known that it can solve your problems, almost any problem you want. They were not wrong, AI is a great technology that is being used to solve a lot of problems, but it wasn’t really new, its just had its moment of buzz and trend. The world made it seem like AI can change your life and turn your life around, almost all my social media news feed is filled with AI content, I then decided to try it out to see how it works. I was really amazed at how it worked, its really different, nice to see you ask a chat box a question and it gives you answers based on your question. Its a new technology to use and it was exciting to use, I saw a lot of news of social media platforms implementing it, like snapchat implement AI, that felt like a good marketing strategy, taking advantage of the trend and using it to sell your business. I googled and saw that there are a lot of cryptocurrencies that have relationship with AI. AI is assumed to be the future, which is not wrong, its the future, but the world is getting too used to it, the hype has declined.

I dont see anything special with AI anymore, although using SIRI had given me some prerequisite feeling of AI, I can make calls just by directing SIRI on doing that with my voice. I can play songs and ask for directions with the help of SIRI, same thing with google voice on other devices, but like I said, we are now seeing AI as a norm, the hype is down, not where it used to be before. When I first saw the AI trend, I saw a TikTok video with the caption of how they made $100k in a short time through AI, I felt it was awesome and decided to watch, thinking the video was going to give me some financial tips on how to make $100k, but the video used the caption as click bait because the video only talked about how AI could be used to organise your business and have some business reports. Which is a nice feature, but this feature is now seen as a norm. This is proof that the world and technology is improving and will keep improving. I can’t wait for the next technological improvement that will trend again, but as time goes by, it will be seen as a norm again.
