I understand that but my point was that those are the exact jargon the mainstream people don't want to hear. They want to hear a simplified version.

There is no point in teaching people that don't want to learn. What we should do, is debate and call out those wankers that preach Web3, while they factually are preaching Web2.
Good points! Then again, there are a big group of potential user who don't want to know how things work - they just want things to work. Targeting them with a smooth approach that anyone can understand isn't a bad IMO.
