Selling the Hype
Silver prices are running hot. We’re up more than +150% YTD, and price targets keep getting more and more extreme while the chart turns parabolic. I’ve even heard projections of $800 or $1,000 per ounce, ridiculous. With euphoria reaching these levels, this is, for me, an excellent time to sell. Anticyclical thinking is what really makes the difference in investing.
I bought some physical silver back in 2016 at around $15. Today, I sold for a +300% profit. There was a huge queue in front of the shop, everyone trying to buy. At all-time highs. I honestly don’t get it.

Heftiger Anstieg, sicher nicht verkehrt bei den Kursen Gewinne zu realisieren, bin gespannt, wie lange das noch so weitergeht.
Heute hat es ja ordentlich Gewinnmitnahmen gegeben. Mal schauen.
