Fed and Jobs ruined Earnings week
Well, what a frustrating end of the week. We saw robust numbers from quite some companies like McDonald’s, Meta or Apple, others had their flaws lile Amazon or Microsoft. Intel indeed was a real disappointment. But in the end what made us fall more than 100 points was Powell with his speach after the Fed meeting and the US job report today. It starts to look like the economy and especially the labor market are cooling down stronger than expected and the Fed is telling the market that they are not sure if a rate cut will come in September to stimulate. That was a real surprise.
Whatever, the correction we have started is gaining momentum and it is a few weeks to go before the Fed has a chance to react. So far it is all healthy after the rally before and nothing to worry about but it could escalate of Wall Street gets too nervous and no clear perspective. Investors hate uncertainty!
What are your thoughts? Will the Fed be too late again after having missed to react to rising inflation two years ago?
As long as we are above 59 don't worry the market will recover again.

It already did. Bitcoin and the rest is also falling. But this is nothing to worry, rather a chance to stack some more Sats, now that they got cheaper.
