Weekly Hive Savings Update - 23/12/2024
Hello Hive Community!
It’s time for another weekly update, and while my HBD goal is still just out of reach, there’s been progress on multiple fronts. This week, I focused on converting more tokens, growing my Layer 2 investments, and cleaning up my delegations. Let’s get into the details!
My Hive Goals
- Hive Power Target: 7500 HP ✅ (Surpassed!)
- HBD Target: 1500 HBD (Getting closer!)
Current Status
Hive Power Progress
- Current Hive Power: 7733 HP
- To Go: -233 HP (Goal Surpassed!)
Hive Power has seen another strong boost, climbing from 7691 HP to 7733 HP this week. The additional power-ups came from earnings and some strategic conversions, pushing my total further past the goal.
HBD (Hive-Backed Dollars) Progress
- Current HBD Saved: 1297 HBD
- To Go: 203 HBD
My HBD savings are growing steadily, though I’m still 203 HBD away from my goal. I’m debating whether to convert more tokens into HBD to get closer or redirect funds into earning tokens for long-term gains. Decisions, decisions!
Weekly Progress (as of 23/12/2024)
Total Hive Power:
- Current: 7733 HP (up from 7691 HP on 16/12/2024)
Delegated Hive Power:
- Current: 4598 HP (down from 5410 HP on 16/12/2024, due to cleanup)
Liquid Hive:
- Current: 762 Hive (up significantly from 260 Hive last week)
HBD (Saved):
- Current: 1297 HBD (up from 1287 HBD on 16/12/2024)
What Did I Do This Week?
Token Conversions for HBD:
- I gathered a second wave of lower-level tokens from Binance airdrops, converted them into Hive, and then used a bit of that Hive to get additional HBD. While it’s a step closer to my goal, I’m considering whether to keep converting or to focus on earning tokens for long-term gains.
Layer 2 Token Growth:
- Increased my holdings in DRIP and BBHO, which are steadily growing as part of my Layer 2 portfolio.
Bot Development:
- Continued working on the Alive bot, aiming to get it back online. Progress is steady but slower than hoped due to other commitments.
Regular Posting & Commenting:
- Staying consistent with posting and engaging on Hive has maintained a steady income flow.
Delegation Cleanup:
- Reviewed and cleaned up my older delegations. Some were inactive and needed to be repurposed for more effective use.
Next Steps
HBD Goal Focus:
- With 203 HBD to go, I’ll continue to evaluate whether to convert more Hive to HBD or shift focus to earning tokens.
Finalize Alive Bot Work:
- Push harder to get the Alive bot back online and fully operational.
Prepare for Year-End Review:
- Reflect on 2024’s achievements and plan new goals for 2025, including a potential new Hive Power target of 10,000 HP! (or much more)
