Hi everyone and welcome to Novembers Valueplan The Numbers post. Sorry I am late with this but I am busy these days. This post basically collates the funding by Valueplan to Hive users on a monthly basis so there is transparency in the Hive Community about how the platform is using the marketing arm of the Hive blockchain. Over the last few years there has been much said around how we go about marketing on the Hive Blockchain and Valueplan was set up so that funding could be given to different groups to promote Hive. The projects being funded are selected by the project managers. Whether they are good or bad for Hive is a matter of opinion. Strong opinion I have found. Some of these projects are funded by 6 figures sums annually so with this amount of money going out of our ecosystem it is well within the Hive users rights to ask questions around where the funding is going and whether Hive is seeing a positive increase as a result of the projects campaign. And this is the reason for this post. Today we look at Novembers numbers, accounts funded and for what. Please look back at my previous posts that provide a monthly and YTD update from January up to October 2024.

Summary
Miami Art Week
So there was 17 accounts funded ranging from 11,500 funding Miami Art Week and Vibes all the way down to @abdul01 in the Ghana tech summit. Just on the highest payout this month. I have not seen much on the blockchain around Miami Art Week as of yet. I know it was due to be on last week but I have not seen much around it. Was it any good? What did we get out of it? Over October and November Valueplan have spent 32,050 HBD in total on the event. It would be cool to find out more and what we got out of the event.
@qmwallet is number 2 and this is an extension to the community wells. The wallet does not give much away. It has a 25 rep .does not follow anyone and has 0 followers. The Valueplan guys will tell me everything is good here and its only a wallet to transfer funds to a certain project for a number of different reasons but personally I don't like it. It's a blatant lack of transparency and this qmwallet has had 38,744 HBD transferred to it since the start of the year. My question is who runs the project?
Gaming Streaming
The first 2,000 HBD is for 2 x streams. If you can send me on a link to these please so I can check out the viewing figures. Maybe I am blonde and I am looking in the wrong places. It is good to see a new user in at number 3. @mazergaming was given 10,000 HBD in November for a gaming promotion. Now in my opinion I think we should be doing this kind of marketing once you can see the results from pages views etc. I checked out Mazers website and it looks good. A couple of pages don't really work such as the Follow Us on Twitter link and some of their videos. They did have news of their Hive partnership on the news tab which is good. Their videos on Youtube are not great and their last videos on Youtube are over a year ago. There are two videos on Twitch so I am not really sure what the 10,000 HBD is going towards.
Victors Must Not Be Very Good At Cycling
Poor @victorwallet must be the unluckiest cyclist on the planet. His pedal bike needs fixing again!!!!! Holey moley. I wouldn't mind but the pedal bike is costing Hive 3 times more than the motorbike K13 Racing so far this year!! Sure we may as well take a look at the repair costs of a racer. Victor has been funded 25,000 HBD so far this year by Valueplan and the majority of this is for the pedal bike racing. He also makes the leaflets for the GYM Street Workout so some of this total is for this. The repair costs for his bicycle are hard to collate here as he has the costs thrown in with other costs but you get the picture.
Date | Cost | Valueplan Wallet Comment | |
---|---|---|---|
16.01.2024 | 2,680.00 | replacement parts and maintenance costs logistics included | |
30.01.2024 | 1891.00 | major repair costs and logistics continuation of pilot project | |
25.06.2024 | 70.00 | Hive Bike Racing replacement minor part | |
07.07.2024 | 1334.00 | Hive Bike Racing national competition Campeonato Nacional XCC Y XCO parts for bike, safety components, and minor logistics | |
20.07.2024 | 500.00 | Hive Bike Racing spare parts for national championship race | . |
10.09.2024 | 1736.00 | Hive bike racing Tiquirito Trails + 4tha valida TCO races 2 x races tires and tire repair components, suspension component, logistics, and a small transport cost, minor registration cost included no contingency 2 x days per event, 4 days total promotional activity | |
01.10.2024 | 1812.00 | Hive Bike Racing XCM pre-planned event parts for bike that were damaged including helmet, transport, accommodations, registration, maintenance and related costs promotional event towards end of season | |
01.11.2024 | 500.00 | Hive Racing Venezuela repairs to carbon frame payment is for work already done on the bike includes conversion |
Now I do a bit of cycling myself as I am from the same place as the great Sean Kelly so we were all born with a bike under us. I have taken part in races in the past. Most of the time my bike would come back in one piece and I can say that about 99.9% of my fellow riders. Unless victor crashes at every event I cannot see how there should be a substantial amount of repair costs to the bike even at national or international level. On paper it is looking like Victor is a bit of a disaster on the bike and keeps lamping it off things. He maybe should think about taking up a new hobby. Maybe Valueplan should rethink funding someone who does not damage their bike so much. He's the racing bike version of Eddie the Eagle at skiing here. Christ almighty. You can get a decent racing bike for $2,500. And this would be a serious bike. I know the best ones go all the way up to $15,000 but we are talking top professionals here. Why don't we buy Victor one bike per year to promote Hive and send him on his way. I would be delighted with that myself. Valueplan would be making a substantial saving here. He will be asking for a wind tunnel next!! I think I will send Valueplan a few HBD for a couple of stabilizers for Victor until he learns how to ride properly. 😂
Posh Token
Another new user to Valueplan is Posh Token. It is good to see them getting funded as it is finally a project that I see with my own eyes on the likes of X promoting Hive. They deserve the funding and more in my opinion as they have benefited Hive greatly over the years and tried to get the ball rolling with onboarding. Good to see them get a few pound. They even refunded 82 HBD. Something that is very rare as the expenses always seem to match the funding to the penny!
No Smoke Without Fire
Gym Street Workout are still being funded even after a number of their former members/ staff said the money received is allegedly not being spent on their events. Granted, there is always two sides to every story but we have not heard from their project manager on a number of occasions now. I had my suspicions about this project even before all the furore . In my opinion where there is money to be made , there is always rows and arguments as other people want a piece of the pie and rows about money is common place. But I do think a review should be carried out with this one as they have been funded just under 100,000 HBD this year alone. Aside from all the infighting and bickering, should this money be better spent elsewhere on another project?? They have had a good run of funding now. I think it is time for Hive gravy train to move on here to a project that can prove its metrics. If there is this much animosity and infighting about a project funded on Valueplan then there is too much money being put into it.
So that's it for this month. I will save the YTD until December for the grand reveal so we can get a full view on what was funded in 2024.
@mazergaming. No videos, no events upcoming, no viewing stats, fuck all and they've just been given 10grand. It's like some sort of amateur hour money laundering scheme as I genuinely can't believe anyone seriously thinks 95% of these schemes are a good idea for marketing Hive!
Still no accounts despite repeated promises from valuplan that there would be more transparency and updates.
I credit you personally with the fact that for the first time we see refunds this month. Good job!
I have resigned myself to voting only the return proposal until DHF requires folks awarded DHF funds to account for their expenditures of them using generally accepted accounting practices. Failing to require such evidence is just begging for theft by fraud to occur, and this has already been alleged by eyewitnesses to be occurring through Valueplan, and when confronted by these allegations Valueplan principals have flatly refused to provide documentation to prove theft by fraud was not occurring. I am absolutely done facilitating theft by fraud of the Hive development fund owned by the Hive community.
I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and diligent exposition of the little information the Hive community is provided about how our money is being spent, but I can thank you.
Thanks!
Thanks buddy. Thanks for all the feedback. Don't let it piss you off too much! And try to get some sleep!! 😃
Ha! Four hours a week is all I need to die. I will sleep forever then.
I feel for the cycling guy: my bike never comes out of the garage and I too have to spend money in repairs every year.
I am pleased to see that the bore-holes are continuing and there has been far more interesting background about them in posts from mcsamm. ValuePlan says that this is not an humanitarian project but actually, this is the project that I always tell people about when I talk about Hive. As someone else somewhere else commented (I think @deeanndmathews), it shows blockchain can do things that governments and NGOs can't. I don't really understand why we haven't got a media campaign around it, using a proper paid-for media agency.
It's a shame not knowing what the qmwallet is for. I'm guessing there has to be technical fees - surveying, water quality and so on - for the boreholes. It would be good to know the whole picture.
Good to see a PoshToken getting some recognition.
This is exactly what I told GP too. Why haven't they got a professional press release officer? Get the wells out on the wires and it could make massive news, world wide as its such a unique project funded by blockchain technology and crypto and showing us in a positive light for a change.
The bore holes are for a good cause and people like the idea of helping others . That said the cost has nearly doubled from the 1st borehole to the 16th / 17th. I get inflation and all that but its a bit over the top. The qmwallet is an extension of the boreholes but in South America. Could be fine but it would be nice for a bit more transparency on that.
👍
I think most important thing its to have a content creator that actually post the process exactly what mcsaam is doing in Ghana, we can track those projects very well
I was there and primary participant. I'd say it went very well and we learned a lot. That being said it's going to take time to do follow up and see what the ultimate results are going to be. Unlike other events valueplan paid for (which often got ZERO traction), this actually got a pretty good amount of traction, but to actually see where these results lead up we have to do quite a bit of follow up over the next several weeks. Overall, this was MUCH better scoped and executed compared to other events, so I'd say that's a huge win for the community.
Thanks for the update @vaultec . I saw Tiffany Fong was at the event actually so I’d say there was the who is who of crypto at it .
Hi, @vaultec,

Cheers guys
Thanks for another great report. The waste/grift is off the charts... its really disheartening to those who love Hive.
Yeah I agree. It is disheartening. I think we are very naïve as a Community.
I was having a pretty good day today, but then you have to go and post this and just make me absolutely angry. This is so ridiculous. I can totally understand why people are so down on HIVE lately when I read about stuff like this happening.
Aww @bozz. I don't mean to upset you chief. You are one of the good guys. I'd happily give you a 100,000 HBD to promote Hive and I think you would do a very good job doing it.
Thanks, I was thinking of writing a proposal to grow my grilling and smoking community. Maybe buy some new equipment. All to grow the chain you know...
We bought a guy with 400HP (staked at the time) a new rally car for thousands. I'm sure they can buy one of the Hive stalwarts an aul' grill!! Just buy a Hive stamp to put on every steak. Call it merch . Add in buzz words such as B2B & Contingency and you will get your funding. I would say you would onboard more than the rally car in the end from those juicy steaks 😂
Speaking of B2B, since there's something called “Hive cup” and it's done every year at a mall, ask for metrics on that. Because I don't think there is such a B2B trade. They just rent the place, but we couldn't say that any reputable store in that mall is somehow incorporating Hive or HBD to trade.
I know right? Similar communities on Web 2.0 have hundreds of thousands of members. You can tell me there isn't a draw. I'd honestly feel bad taking advantage like that though. I don't want to become one of the people that everyone complains about.
oh, could you include a bursary for a UK ambassador to come and do research?
Haha, yeah for sure!
hehe!
Thank you, @shanibeer, for bringing this to my attention, and @blanchy, thank you for being the leader and providing the transparency we can't get from VP itself.
I happen to be on top of crypto's user base and where it is in the lead -- I ALWAYS keep the Chainalysis data at hand.
https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/2024-global-crypto-adoption-index/
I'm in country no. 4, the United States, and even we will have to work VERY HARD to get past India (1), Nigeria (2), and Indonesia (3) in terms of crypto adoption, so if we want to get Hive adopted, VP is still UPSIDE DOWN. Between the rally car and that bike, and that gym -- but India is down at NUMBER NINE. At least West Africa is a center of attention -- not that Ghana and Nigeria have the same interests because Africa is a CONTINENT ten times the size of the U.S., and you can't lump 54 COUNTRIES, not states, in the same basket -- but we are in the ballpark with Ghana, and the work Hive is doing there is life-changing for real. It is the best story Hive does not want to lean into and own -- we do what governments and NGOs refuse to do, and we do it WELL -- but we've got people running parts of VP who would cut that off if they could and have said so and I WILL pull the receipts if they deny it!
There are some tremendous things VP is doing well -- Vibes, boreholes, Posh, KRK -- because they are good things to do, and wonderful stories about Hive can come from them that can be promoted anywhere in the world. This and the DATA about where people WANT CRYPTO is what any promotional plan for Hive needs to focus on FIRST. Otherwise, money will always be going into the wind.
Thanks for your detailed comment. Alot of the Valueplan funding goes to Venezuela which is 13th on the chain analysis list. I don't really get why Hive is not targeting the more affluent country's. But it is hard to get it right. I get political unrest is a reason for crypto mass adoption but it is the richer countries that have more disposable income that would attract people to the likes of Hive. I definitely think China and Korea need looking at. Isn't the Korean exchange the highest Hive volume per day?
Yes, Korea is the leader in Hive, and has been for some time. China is kind of rough ... Justin Sun and all that ...
The problem about targeting countries that are more affluent is simple: we will not work in the U.S. and Europe for pennies. No time, no discipline as a culture at least in the U.S. to understand that the crypto cycle is four years and that those pennies stack up. Hive is basically 30 cents. That doesn't even register with Bitcoin at $103K. It will register when Hive is above a dollar, and the onboarding process is simple enough and the support is robust enough for new people to get guided correctly (I have made a significant effort in that direction) and not downvoted to the floor for mistakes they don't even know they are making. But culturally in the U.S., the masses are not going to jump through hoops for Hive at 30 cents. It's too much work for too little unless you are of a mind that those pennies add up -- and that is rare in the mass.
But now, be not deceived. India, Nigeria, and Indonesia all have rich people in their two billion souls. Hive would have to have people study who they are, what they want, and appeal to them on their own terms -- and with the money we are piling into VP, this should not be an unreasonable ask.
You will not see much about it yet. What we got out of it is exactly what I wanted to get out of it in its first phase.
We got to directly talk to VCs and investors with billions of dollars worth portfolios. Just in the lobby of the venue was more than a billion USD worth of art. Michelangelo's 1:1 scale recreations in pure silver. Davids statue couldnt fit so only its head was there. That is what type of event it was. Specifically wealthy investors that we wanted to talk to. Some massive names.
Now we follow up with the leads we got. If it converts into something everyone will know.
Path, the how, the why, the what was clearly established and it was a completely different approach to anything anyone has done so far on Hive.
It can fail, no doubt about it, but I feel good about our chances because of what we are offering being a very unique opportunity. Getting a hit on first try would be amazing but regardless, this is definitely how I think we should approach everything and anything in the future. From conferences to whatever contact anyone on Hive gets to.
Sounds promising. Can one of the attendees do a post around it?? I'd like to see Michelangelo's silver head myself.😀 I think it is the least you can do for that amount of investment put in whether you hit the jackpot or not. The Hive Community would benefit from it and some may even share on X.
Heres what I have.
Nothing really to make a post about. We went there to talk to investors. We talked to them. Now we follow up.
It's not just about posting a stupid photo of a practically empty place, MMG.
You are being asked to describe and explain in detail what the fuck you did with that amount of investment we all put in your useless claws during all that time mofo. With what the fuck kind of "investors" you talked to and of what the fuck you talked about with them. To whom or to what the fuck we have to suppose that you are doing a follow up now?
That alone is not enough material to justify writing a very complete post and make a well elaborated report about what the hell you went to Miami to do and what the fuck you have accomplished so far?
Or is it that, just like with Freechain, the entire community now has to wait more than three years of your "follow up" to find out what the hell you did and what you spent that money on?
Translation...
You pretending to be Tom Jones and Mathew McConaughey now?
Stealing their identity next, are you? Dirtbag.
Aha, did my comment hurt you? Eh Motherfucker?
What kind of spoiled, arrogant, vain, rude and disrespectful response toward the entire community is this with which you have dared to respond to this question below?
Do you by chance already think you're some sort of privileged big faggot to whom the thieves of Valueplan give $36,500.00 from the community only to go to Miami to show off and rub shoulders with millionaires and billionaires without having to give us an account of on what the fuck you've spent that money on?
Aren't there enough local faggots in Miami that such a mass of faggottery had to be sent from Croatia to the Miami Art Week to do the same crap you did?
Do you notice the big difference in the answer between what @vaultec answered and what you have answered to the same question above? Huh, pretentious faggot?
Oh! And by the way, how could you read my comments if you're supposed to have me muted? Huh, motherfucker?
Yeah, just keep evading the questions without showing or giving concrete and convincing answers about on what the fuck you spent the money. And in the meantime, keep yourself entertained by stealing my four cents so that it becomes even more evident what kind of vengeful bitch without answers and useless impotent faggot you are.
My recommendation is that you immediately reimburse to the community at least those $13,000.00 that you have stored there in your two wallets. Yeah, between what you have saved in your own wallet and what you have set aside in the hbd-temp wallet, we at least will have the opportunity to recover almost half of the money you were trying to steal.
Because for me, this little brawl only may cost me just a few cents with your stupid vindictive downvotes. But instead, it might cost you thousands of dollars and probably also a long visit to jail to have your anus reconstructed if you don't listen to me.
I think you're not quite seeing it. Victor the bike guy, and Manuel ramos the “CEO” of SWC are friends. They launder money with @guiltyparties or he simply gives them money that does not belong to them. That's why both parties are always fattened. It is not to be doubted, it is just the way it is. In fact they both have a group with GP where they talk about how to scam Hive. The best thing for them is not to respond so I doubt they will respond to you.
Pro bikes can cost up to 15kEuros however bike repairs can be from 100 to 1k depending on damage per year from a pro cyclist.
There you go. Thanks for your update. Really good video there.
That is quite a lot for bicycle repairs. Just like you I'm a cyclist myself, but I don't have that amount of repairs in a year. And I live in an expensive country.
I don't know how this valueplan works. Do the people get the money itself or do they submit bills?
Total obscurantism, fear of the truth. They never show the invoices, and the name of the memo is absurd, they are heading as “b2b”, when they have not obtained a real negotiation thanks to these two projects, the super bike and the SWC. I can speak because I saw it with my own eyes. One of the project leaders is doing renovations to his house with Hive money, and he bought a motorcycle with the money. They are unable to deny it, because they have no way to provide any proof. Yet we continue to finance them.... Ok, that's Valueplan
The HBD is transferred to their accounts. Valueplan say that there are expenses submitted with bills but I am not sure. If this was the case, there would be alot more refunds because costs never add up to the exact amount funded.
Even if you have bills that doesn't make change, you can make fake a bill that will just give you an extra investigation which lead you to massive headache. If the guy is not top pro in my opinion there should be a cap - it's simple to ask Chat GTP question regarding it " How much pro bike cost to repair per year " then you got amount obviously because it's not the top of it then you slice amount by 40% and there you go, this is the way how you cap it. Btw where we can check progress competitions and so on ?
Hey mate! I've sent you a message in Discord.
Photos look great @korver. Best of luck with the football project
Thanks @blanchy. Appreciate that.
Yep, because in this "sport" most likely he still have a lot more to learn.
I would say that poor Victor may be unlucky when it comes to cycling, but not so much in terms of money. Who wouldn’t want their hobby funded this way? Same goes for the rally guy.
So much money thrown away, and yet Hive is hanging on at a very disappointing and painful $0.269
There is something seriously wrong with all the marketing efforts of these money grabbers. The community wells may be a nice project, but at this point Hive is not in a position to do charity, especially when the recipients of the charity have virtually no connection to Hive. There is a lot to be done before that scenario is justified.
Honestly. This is my favourite blog post of the month. I wish all participants in VP would come here every single month and comment here with an update post something ABOUT THE PROGRESS
