You are right, you know. I just wish the internet had not started off like this. With ads being the currency. Hopefully 3speak will take off in a big way and make a better way to reward creators.
how would 3speak make money and value of the token to pay out creators? They also need to be running ads. Value doesn't just come out of thin air
Advertising should be a fine balance. I don't mind none obtrusive ads, It is when they reduce the enjoyment of the experience it gets bad.
I use brave browser mainly to keep down the amount of trackers Google and the whole internet subjects me to and one of the side benefits is not having to see ads which I kind of got used to.
I will probably be paying for Youtube going forward. I just hope it also removes the tracking.
If 3speak does have ads I am sure it will benefit everyone. Both watchers and creators. Just like LEO.
For now I'll have to buy yet another subscription to watch without all the interruptions.
