The problem that I see with this is that most people will not be willing to hoard hive for long especially given the fact that it is a source of livelihood to some.

Me too... It's kind of a source of my livelihood too, so I need to spend it from time to time.
There's almost no escaping, one must sell hive. The good thing is, for those of who believe in the system, we keep some of our rewards so the system can benefit too 🙂
