Infinex Patron Wave 3

Finally, 48 hours for the Patron Pass holders for the Infinex Patron NFT.... this is a big mystery purchase, and somewhat of an expensive one as well...

The Patrons come in three flavours, Fully Unlocked and Liquid Patrons, Linear Patrons that unlock linearly over 12 months from the distribution date. and Locked patrons that are 12 month locked and unlock over 24 months after that.

The Fully unlocked patrons are 5000 USD, 2500 USD for the Linear Patrons, and the Locked ones are sitting at a comparatively cheap 1250 USD.

The "linear vesting" is pretty damn confusing for a NFT... but after reading the documentation, it looks like if you purchase 12 Patrons and have them unlock linearly over 12 months then you are getting one unlocked each month for the duratinon of the 12 month unlock period. It is weird, and I guess it will be pretty clear when it starts what happens with non-12 divisible options of Patrons!

So... what do these Patrons do? Well, no idea... no-one has any idea, but the Infinex app has been a great step up in terms of usability for the pretty crappy wallet and seed experience. And it comes from the creator of Synthetix, which has been a pretty decent thing over the years... so, do I think I will sink some money into currently unknowable worth NFTs... lots of big whales, funds, VCs and top tech people from Ethereum and Solana have already purchased in the previous two waves...

... and the good thing is that the conditions and prices for the NFTs are the same for everyone, regardless of wave. The only thing is that the 4th wave will be the free for all that will sell off the remaining unclaimed patrons. Thankfully, after using Infinex since inception, I have the ability to take part in Wave 3...

So, will this be worth anything? Or will it be just an expensive folly? No idea... but I do like what they are doing, and I do sort of trust the creators and team... well, as far as you can trust anything in crypto!
