Thanks for this post. I’m kinda new on Hive, but I spent two years in another platform, and even thought there are very similar things, they still have differences, and very important ones.
It helps me to understand a little bit more of Hive!

I was talking about Steemit... both are similar but different at the same time.
I have to say that the develop of Hive as a platform and the dynamism of the ecosystem in general, have nothing to do with the other one. Hive shows much more commitment to the project and to the users.
Anyway, I don't want to go deeper on the topic, because Steemit helped me a lot, but sadly, the goal and focus of the platform changed and is far away from what I expect for a blog built on a blockchain (at least for me as a content creator).
