While the crypto space turned bearish lately and as I was full with work lately, I had less time to be up to date and engage with crypto in general and on the Hive blockchain in special. But as I have caught a breath today, I have decided to at least check what new communities appeared on Hive in October 2025 and see if there is a new start amongst them. Nevertheless I consider the communities creation as a healthy barometer of this ecosystem as the true power shines when more users unify and are driven by a common goal. So let's see what's new around on our playground.
In October 2025 there were 9 new communities created on the Hive blockchain. By the look of it some seem related to already established communities, only not in a formal way. Others seem to be tracking the crypto trends which is quite good as those should see some high engagement. Others might just test the waters, but all are welcomed as by experiencing, through enthusiasm, by finding new niches is the way we all grow and develop this amazing ecosystem.

Top 3 Hive Communities - October 2025
1. Snaps
Snaps is a community centered on sharing short form content through PeakD’s Snaps feature, encouraging engagement and creating meaningful snaps (similar to tweets). There are already 336 subscribers which shows that the micro posting on the Hive blockchain has a great potential.
2. Miss Bitcoin
Miss Bitcoin blends Bitcoin enthusiasm with lifestyle themes such as wellness, beauty, travel, and food, highlighting personal journeys and empowerment while creating a vibrant intersection between crypto culture and modern adventure. With 60 subscribers so far, this could be a community to keep an eye on.
3. Music Technology
Music Technology brings together musicians, sound designers, field recordists, audio creators and enthuziasts, showcasing sound art and production techniques while fostering collaboration around innovative, blockchain-driven music culture. Huge domain, amazing potential and 15 subscribers already joined.
Not a great number of communities were established in October 2025 on the Hive blockchain, but good enough to show that we are alive. Corelated with the bearish crypto market times, I believe this is understandable. But people are still building and putting their shoulder to grow the Hive ecosystem organically. And this is of upmost importance as that's what will make us continue and develop from here. Or at least that's how I see it. That's all folk, have a great evening!

Great to see new communities being created on Hive! Even with the market being down, it’s exciting to see projects like Snaps, Miss Bitcoin, and Music Technology growing.
Whenever there is a change in the project like this and new things are added, people's interest definitely increases, and this time, different things are being seen in Bitcoin, so people want to say a lot about it.
