We entered in 2025 with all the hope gathered from previous bull runs and in the anticipation that this will be a year for crypto like never before. The market is boiling and the Hive blockchain itself took the spotlight with highest future contract volume in several days on Binance exchange. There is hype everywhere and there is something building up for a historical year if all the domino pieces fall right. But until that happens it is good to take a look back and see how things evolved here. Thus, let's check how many new communities were established on the Hive blockchain in the month of December 2024.
In December 2024 we had 9 new communities created on the Hive blockchain and some of them already started to establish new members. The number of new communities is not impressing in some way, but it brings more diversity and niches to this space. There are big onboarding initiatives - the most I know is from InLeo - and that should bring new energy and new ideas in this ecosystem. In my books, that's all for the better.

Sure, we would all like to see bigger development teams, bigger projects, but for now we will have to like what we have. And the most important thing in my opinion is that we continue growing and we continue developing and building. And as long as we do that, we will have a bright future!
