Back before the blockchain was called Hive, three of us ran a weekly food initiative. After about a year, we received a nice sponsorship which allowed us to award authors bigger prizes. With that came traffic and with traffic came issues.
I'd receive weekly requests asking to extend the entry deadline. I always allowed it which only made my job tougher. I began having to cram 30-40 entries into an announcement post with a couple hours to do so. So I became a little more frustrated each week with people unable to follow the rules.
One weekend a repeat entry who could never get their entires in on time asked me to extend the entry time again but I couldn't because I was already finished with the announcement post. One thing led to another and she said "if you can't help me I'm done with this conversation" to which I responded, 'I was done with you a long time ago.' Because I was. That's all that happened.
Less than 24 hours later, the sponsor cancelled their contest support and to this day, three years later, this account hasn't received support from that sponsor nor any of their team which combined are possibly the largest curation on this platform costing me who knows how many thousands of dollars as well as banned from an entire community at one point. They since lifted the ban but it was in place for about a year. I can't prove it or anything without that individual admitting what they did but that's how it went down—took what I said out of context on discord to permanently harm my account.
I've never talked about it like this in public. Thanks for asking, iThink.
It's disappointing is all. Rewards come and go, good thing I don't count on them to feed myself. I just hate not knowing if I've been convicted for lack of a better term without the opportunity to explain my side of the story.

@dandays just like you have said, you have never made this know in public. I totally relate to this because I can relate to it. Thank you for sharing.
