Travel the World of Postage Stamps - Protected Animals - Cuban Racer (Alsophis cantherigerus) - Cuba 1984 - Michel Cuba 2888 - my hobby.
Greetings friends!
I tried to ravel in the reason why the series Protected Animals of postage stamps, issued on the island of Cuba in 1984, in general, had a chance to exist.
Drawings depicting animals are very primitive, they do not give us an idea of the true appearance of animals.
I have only one explanation for this, these are drawings of a young relative, perhaps a son, or grandson of Fidel Castro, or, someone from close persons.
The issue of postage stamps is not an easy task, which goes through a lot of approvals and approval by the top government, if it is a state circulation of postage stamps, and not a private order. I doubt that in Cuba, a mere mortal will be able to issue his own series of postage stamps.
For a year now I have been negotiating in Ukraine about the issue of my own series of postage stamps, but I cannot achieve a result. So far, I am refused to include my series in the catalogs, only, the inclusion in the list of philatelic products, which does not suit me.
Therefore, I think that only Fidel's strong hand could confirm this horror.
So, on another postage stamp with a face value of 3 Cuban centavos, we see a snake Cuban Racer (Alsophis cantherigerus).
It is a harmless creature, but you will never recognize it if you compare it to the snake depicted on a postage stamp.
With the same success, you can recognize in this snake a snake, a cobra, a viper, or a black mamba.
How do you protect someone who cannot be recognized?
In those days, there was no wikipedia and you would have to trust this image, lol.
