Things to know about Africa

Hi everyone, I would like to share with you little things to know about Africa.Because there are lot of things we need to understand about Africa.
Africa is the world’s second largest and second most populous continent after Asia. Africa is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea to the north the isthmus of suez and the Red Sea to the northeast the Indian Ocean to the southeast and the Atlantic Ocean to west.

Things to know about Africa

Did you there are more than 2000 languages in Africa with Just 54 countries and also the largest in Africa is Sahara desert and also in the world. Yes I know some people will say how come is the largest. It’s largest than the continental states.

Secondly

Africa is the hottest continent. Around 60% of the land surface of Africa comprise dry land and deserts.
Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa. It is also the second fresh water in the world. There are over 1000 island in the lake. Africa have the biggest frog in the world. It is over one foot long and it’s referred to as Goliath frog.

Islam is the dominant religion in Africa why Christian is the second.

Also

Victoria falls is the largest weterfall in Africa and has the height of 335 feet and the width runs almost a mile and more also Africa has the longest river in the world which is River Nile.

There’s is a country in Africa that has a pink lake and the name of y to the lake is known as Lac Rose. Though research made it known that the pink color is caused by a bacteria but it is completely safe to swim and am planning to go there and swim. Lol

The amazing part of this story is that: did you know hippopotamus is the deadliest animal in Africa because it has caused more deaths than the fierce animals like the lion and crocodile.

Lastly

Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa with over 200 million people and 7th most populated country in the world.
The country has about 520 spoken languages.
