Bitcoin has the biggest disadvantage that it can be used by dark web and do some illegal stuff.
According to Coin Desk news, a women was caught when she was in contact with a dark web site admin where she wanted to track a man and kill him in the process. She even sent btc amount of around 5K$ to the admin to prove that she can afford it.
She was caught by three journalists who were investigating that site and they found out her relation with site admin.
She was caught by FBI raid and the screenshots of that dark web site also founded in her home.
Raid was done before the murder. There were also messages found that the target needs to be killed.
She will probably be sentenced to 10 years if proved.
