You may recall I posted on dbuzz about Coinpot closing to inform others to withdraw their coins. Thankfully, I did not promote this site to others that they would have ended up in the same situation as I find myself in.
Coinpot wrongfully cancelled my withdrawal & suspended my account as they were closing. I've disputed it via email & no rationale given.
Seems they are now essentially stealing the time I have given over the years for their gain & now I have nothing to show for it. If I do not receive my coins, seems no other conclusion to draw than this being a selective scam
Perhaps, a mechanism for the site owners to not have to pay tx fees and keep the advertising revenue of their users who had put faith in their faucets.
Facts concerning my case
- Had over 100000 satoshi BTC to withdraw
- Protonmail email address. Never was flagged throughout my years using Coinpot.
- Attempted withdrawal Jan 21st
- Sent email to Coinpot address. Didn't receive a mailbox full error as others have but nevertheless no reply.
- Faucet claims made on mobile phone connected to either home wifi or mobile networks. Also, completed large number of advertiser tasks via Bitfun.
At this point, I will be taking the L and moving on but think it may behoove others for me to share. I suspect had I converted to another crypto with less fees that maybe it would have gone through.
In other words, think the selective scam criteria may have had to do with cutting costs of btc withdrawals and associated fees. Below is the message they give on the cancelled transaction.
"The reason for this is because your CoinPot account has been suspended due to activity which goes against our terms of service or has been deemed as fraudulent."
Are you in the same ⛵?
Maybe you have something to add. A common thread if you will. If you have any intel on the site owners, drop it into the comments. That would be great so people can be warned and cautious of any future attempts to exploit.
Have seen reports of people losing much more who actually deposited into their wallets. Thankfully, I only deposited my time but, as a consolation, I can earn some Leo by posting about this misfortune.
Thanks for reading

I used it for a while but found the time taken was not worth it. Got some DogeCoin out of it, and sold it during the recent hike. I did notice the Moonxxx sites have recently gone down...
Especially when you get nothing! LOL
Wonder if it would have went through had I converted to DOGE 🤔
I used to convert the lot to DOGE, those CoinPot ones as well. Then when it reached the threshold send the DOGE to my Ledger. Even at todays prices it was only 15c a pop, not worth the time.
I am sorry to hear what happened to you with Coin Pot. While I disdain what they did, I half expected them to do exactly that. Most of the sites were built to generate a source of revenue for them and pay out some of the returns to the user. When this cycle ends, it is up to the goodwill of the owner if he wants to pay our or not. Unfortunately if it is not resolved, I can only assume he does not want to pay out.

POSH on Reddit
I was thinking that since Doge was pumping so they scammed me for 260 Doge.
I left faucets and coinpot long ago and 260 Doge was some kind of residue balance that I thought to withdraw because they are closing and they scammed.
They did us dirty homie but what goes around comes around. Karma as they say.
