"Or you could just pay an artist," said the artist, himself.

Oh man, if only. I need around 60 unique images per week for normie work related stuff, I'd bankrupt the company in 3 months.

That being said, I do try to hire local talent whenever I have a bigger budget.

Well, technically, if you hired me, you'd be bankrupt in one month (but I wouldn't be).

Just jokes. And I don't room for any more gigs like that anyway, which is why you don't see me ever doing it around here.

Yet, living in a cheap place &landing a couple commissions can pay your expenses, one could say that real talent doesn't need to work that much to make ends meet. But for the daily stuff, do u hire a cheap/low talent person, or do u AI?

AI took a lot of jobs off the market, and it makes sense. At the same time other doors opened up. But now the artist and their work is becoming scarce, rare; doors open. Even with this independent Hive gig, demand for my work exists.

That's one of the things that dazzles me the most when it comes to real talent and value for money for daily stuff. An SEO writer can charge up to 500 bucks a piece, a real artist can charge thousands for a commission.

Been hearing a lot about midjourney. Is it really as wonderful as they say

It is pretty good. You have to give it specific prompts or you'll end up with amazing art that doesn't serve your purposes, but will be truly amazing.

What is that?

Midjourney, image generator AI, the artwork is pretty good compared to the others I've used so far!

oh okay. I have never tried anything else other than Bing
