My Content Goals Before I Talk About My Financial Goals

The financial goals initiative in 2021 is an exciting topic to discuss. But I don't have any specific goals regarding my finances in 2021.

There are many things I need to improve in 2021. I and maybe other users are getting more and more opportunities to get the rewards of HIVE and the various dapps in it. The more opportunities it means the more responsibility we have to do. We can't just create content and walk away and come back again to claim our rewards. We always need to keep building our network so that everything is balanced and okay.

From now, I am more interested in talking about my content goals. I am a full-time content creator and also a curator on Hive Blockchain. For me, my finances will follow what I have done with my content.

My Finances Will Improve If My Content Is Useful To Others

I have always believed that my finances would benefit from hard work, smart work, and the usability of my content. During 2020 this works for me. And I am grateful for what I have gotten from creating content. My big dream is to make my mother's dream come true, to make her happy in 2020. Last year, I never wrote numbers in detail about the finances I wanted to achieve. I only write down the things I need to achieve because finance is not a fixed number. Finance always moves to follow ourselves.

So in 2021, I want my cooking content and mindfulness content to be known by many people. I have a target for more evergreen recipes that I create, recipes that anyone anywhere in the world can create.

My content goals are about how I can present and deliver my content to people better than the previous year. Sometimes I feel too hard on myself. But there I am. I hate it when my food photos are not optimal. I hate it when my culinary tour vlog has poor sound quality.

So, I will upgrade some equipment for the kitchen and equipment for my photography needs.

In the middle of 2020, I felt that my productivity for cooking video content or culinary tours had decreased dramatically because my device memory was full. I have a hard time managing time for editing videos.

In 2021, I promise myself to be more productive in making videos and fulfill 1K subscribers on my Youtube Channel (currently still 700 Subs).

My finances depend on myself

If I become lazy, my finances will get worse. For many people, they say that being a content creator is easy. For me, it is quite the opposite. My financial outcome is entirely my responsibility. The better my performance, then I believe there will always be luck for my financial improvement.

It's different if we work in a company. No matter how best I work for the company, I will still have trouble getting a promotion. I had to keep working from home even though I was sick at that time. And my salary had to be deducted if I was a few minutes late arriving at the office at that time.

I enjoy my days as a content creator, but at the same time take a lot of responsibility. Without being consistent and managing a good mood, it messed up my finances.

Apart from that, I also have to establish good communication within the community. We are here to build our best ecosystem together. Not for what or who. But for us together.

We can be a mediocre content creator. But I can't help but be maximal for the path I have chosen to realize my success.

2021, I hope I can create better content, and increase my social media viewers and subscribers for HIVE monetization and promotion purposes. Again, I love getting people to create content on Hive even if they end up not being as tough as me and giving up. But, at least I tried. :)
