Definitly both. Some ppl does not have the creative side and just want to "join in" on what other builds and others are like me. Have ideas but lacks action taking.

It takes a great deal. Most people are joiners so have to set the rails for them to join something. That is why different initiatives are important.
Yes, you never know what makes it "click" for a user, to make the transformation from user to owner.
It seems like it doesnt happen at all. There are only a few who really made it.
I think it does happen. Just takes time and maybe needs to hear the same message in many different formats.
