Well the current politicians in charge have chased all crypto away from the US

Sort:

That is true. The Biden admin was horrid to crypto and the nitwits in Congress cant even get a stablecoin bill.

Do you think a Trump government would change that?

I think it will be friendlier to crypto so things like the SEC, which are under the President's control could improve.

Congress is still its own animal so Trump cant pass any legislation (for or against) crypto without them.

And with the morons that are traditional in Congress, there is little reason for optimism. They tend to be reactionary, i.e. only acting after it is too late.

So the election is just for president now, not for the senate and congress?

The entire House is up every two years and 1/3 the second (33) are up.

With the House, over 90% win reelection so you have mostly the same players. There are some changes in the Senate but 2/3 do not even run every election.

Oh I realize there is a lot I dont know about the american political system 😅

We basically just look who is president

Which has the least amount of impact as anything.
We have 3 equal branches of Government and the President is only part of 1 of them.

The President, of all the major leaders, has the least amount of power. That person is basically stuff with Congress.
