"this thing in Niger isn't supported by the people"--- Source please

My only conclusion for it is, military stepped in, not a people uprising. Look at the difference between this and Sri Lanka

That's not very good way to come to conclusions. Militaries are made up of the people and have families that have groomed them to join. I asked for comment here, only got one from a Leo in Niger and didn't support Prez

I think it much worse to just believe the other way around. Look at how many time military takeovers have mean dictatorships. Not a good track record there.

And ofc there is people not supporting a president, it's a democracy :) For me there is a big difference between people uprising against a regime or a military coup.

But just my opinion ofc

My sources say otherwise.

Right, it's unfortunate that mainstream media outside of the country is only giving one side of the story, like usual. I tend to believe the opposite of what western media reports.

not supported by the people? How did you come to that conclusion?

Since it was a military coup and not a people uprising :) Military should not interveen in the leadership of a country

this statement makes zero sense. Respectfully you are incorrect. Stop watching western media

Enlight me than, what is it all about? When has it been a good thing when the military steps in and take a lead of a country?

Oh man was so long, will check it out tomorrow while coding at work. Thanks for sharing!

Okay started to listen. Really interesting stuff, especially the part when they say read the economic paper rather than political to understand the actuall conflict.
