Depends on what way you lean. You can think "maybe we are enough ppl" or you can think that "without new ppl civilation will collapse.
I tend to be more worried about number 2

You might be right. But then I would argue its going to be to late for many of the civilisations in what we call "West" today. Maybe its for the better, maybe not.
