Well thats not true imo. Just because ppl in the project now have a price point when they will offload some doesnt it mean new ppl will have other price points. Look at $BTC, how many havent dumped their holding and the price still go up.

If we create a larger incentive for ppl to hodl and buy, the price will reflection
