Layoffs are normal, and healthy for big firms. Who needs a gender affirmation representative or gender equity or race equity responsible? These are mindless jobs, that just make the overhead cost go high. Firms need to be efficient and make money, else they would be NGOs.

Sadly no, some are kept, and they first fire white male engineers for the quota, not based on competence and results.
