RE: What If...

I wrote an article about building culture yesterday. Maybe a big more oriented towards Company culture but it applies to the culture within any group of people. Seth Godin boils down culture like this

People like us do things like this

For more people to "get it" we need to behave in the way we want others to behave and support them when they behave like us. I've found that I receive most of my support from fellow Hiveans with medium-sized accounts who share similar values and that's been awesome for me! I rarely get votes from the top 10 HP holders and almost never from curation guilds, but I do get upvotes from amazing human beings with $1, $2, $2 in voting power sometimes and that's very rewarding. I think this is where it's at. The orcas who get it and spread the word on X, support creators and builders, vote, share and interact like good neighbors. I think they're here, but just like with any society, they'll be the minority.

Does every IRL neighbor on your block actively participate in neighborhood watch, food for the homeless, anti-bullying, church duty, etc? Probably not.

I'm ok with that too.

Not everybody will get it, so let's cherish those who do.

Some solid observations here, reciprocation, and networking with like-minded people can drive some success.
