Over two days exploring Indonesia’s coffee landscape, it becomes clear that despite reports of declining global supplies, the country has experienced a significant increase in coffee production over the past decade. The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture estimates a dip in coffee output this year; however, the country actually posted a bumper crop in 2022. Consequently, even with projections of lower supply in 2023, Indonesia's overall production remains higher than it was ten years ago, roughly a 20% increase from the lowest levels.
