The outspoken denunciations continued with Shapiro directly attacking Bannon, labeling him a “PR flag” for Jeffrey Epstein and suggesting Bannon attempted to coach Epstein on image repair. Shapiro also criticized Tucker Carlson for amplifying conspiracy theories, including those involving Nick Fuentes, a figure infamous for anti-Semitic and Nazi sympathizer rhetoric.

In defense, Tucker Carlson responded dismissively, calling Shapiro “pompous” and accusing him of practicing a form of “cancel culture,” despite the fact that Carlson himself is often seen as a media figure controversial for deplatforming opponents.
