Adding fuel to the fire, Billy Ray Cyrus's son Trace Cyrus issued an emotional (and somewhat controversial) open letter on Instagram expressing deep concern about his father’s current state. Trace detailed how from childhood he idolized Billy Ray and considered him the coolest person alive but now barely recognizes him. Expressing genuine worry, Trace claimed that Billy Ray has been pushed down by life's hardships and that the family fears for his health.
