Part 16/17:
Pakistan stands at a critical juncture. The election process has exposed deep fissures—politically, economically, and socially. Electoral manipulation, regional insurgencies, economic hardship, and civilian-military tensions threaten to undermine the country’s fragile democracy.
The path forward depends on the ability of the coalition government and the judiciary to address electoral grievances, restore trust, and pursue reforms. International partners, notably China and the IMF, continue to have vested interests in Pakistan’s stability. Yet, unless credible governance, transparency, and development are prioritized, socio-political unrest could intensify, jeopardizing Pakistan’s future prospects.
