Footage she released showed the intruders approaching her property, with her footage capturing her running and the gunfire erupting. She stated she shot one of the intruders during the confrontation, and her husband also fired gunshots, reportedly hitting another suspect. Police corroborated that shots were fired from her husband's weapon, although Amaranth's own tweet claimed she was responsible for shooting one of the attackers.
