Part 13/16:
Singapore is making strides toward carbon neutrality, especially within its transport and energy sectors. The national airline, Singapore Airlines, has begun blending sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)—which can reduce lifecycle greenhouse gases by up to 80%—and plans to replace 5% of its fuel needs with SAF by the end of the decade. While production remains limited and expensive, Singapore is also modernizing its fleet and improving ground operations to reduce emissions.
