In response to the misinformation, Mr. Beast took to social media (specifically X, formerly Twitter) to clarify. He posted a clip of the interview to dispel the false quote and expressed frustration that only a small portion of those who saw the headline would read the clarification. His tweet read something along the lines of being saddened that so many believed the lie and that it was frustrating to see his image misrepresented.
He also shared the actual transcript footage, which showed him saying that life was easier when you’re not traveling constantly, working about 15 hours a day, and waking up in your own bed—topics that are genuine and relatable for many but were extracted out of context.
