Ran’s commentary can be viewed as a critique of how societal narratives shape perceptions of happiness and fulfillment. There appears to be a dichotomy: on one hand, the glorification of parenthood as a life-affirming milestone, and on the other, a more nihilistic view where life is seen as lacking deeper meaning outside of consumerist pursuits or career achievements.
