At the core, Hollywood's struggles stem from a cultural divide between artistic pride and commercial necessity. Many actors and creators hold the notion that they offer something truly unique and essential—not just in their craft but also in their personal beliefs and political opinions. While artistic talent can produce great work, this high sense of self-importance often breeds hubris, blinding Hollywood to the simple truth: as with any business, profit margins are paramount.
